If you need to get rid of your old cell phone, The H.O.P.E. Center will be glad to take it off your hands. The United Way of McMinn & Meigs Counties' partner agency is collecting cell phones as part of a fundraiser. According to Ida Scruggs, program manager for The H.O.P.E. Center, proceeds will benefit community education efforts.
