Geraldine D. Liner, age 80, of Calhoun, died Wednesday evening, May 27, 2009, in a Cleveland hospital.

She was a member of Calhoun United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Calhoun Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Ree Liner; her parents, Arrie and Willie Clyde Hefner Deakins; and one daughter, Jean Ann Key.

Survivors include two loving daughters, Sandra Womac and her husband, Tom, of Charleston, and Wanda Womac of Riceville; one sister, Carolyn Babbitt and her husband, Lloyd, of Tampa, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Willadean Ray of Cleveland; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service honoring the life and home going of Geraldine Liner will be 8 p.m. Friday at Grissom Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Moats officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
